President & Chief Executive Officer
Aileen has served on Pacific Historic Parks' leadership management team as Chief Financial Officer since 2012. She is a Certified Public Accountant and previously served on the Pacific Historic Parks board. Prior to her position as CFO, she worked as a consultant and was the Tax Senior Manager at Ernst & Young for over 20 years. She is the author of "Taxes of Hawaii: A Comprehensive Guide for Taxpayers and Tax Professionals." Aileen volunteers with the National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii and was the foundation's chair for 2016.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Carlton is responsible for marketing the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, Diamond Head Visitor Center, and Kalaupapa National Historical Park. Responsibilities also include sales and marketing for Pacific Historic Parks’ USS Arizona Memorial retail store, USS Arizona Memorial Narrated Tour, Diamond Head Visitor Center retail store, Diamond Head Narrated Tour and our store at Kalaupapa. In addition, Carlton handles the wholesale division for Pacific Historic Parks and markets our organization's merchandise to groups coming to Oahu or to other retail outlets. For past four years, Carlton has also been the VP Sales & Marketing for the Pearl Harbor Historic Sites. Gail Ann Chew
Senior Director of Development and Communications
Gail serves as the Director of Development and has more than 20 years of experience in providing strategic marketing, communications and philanthropy with a diverse range of organizations in Hawaii, including the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, JDRF, Hawaii Restaurant Association, and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. She specializes in the development and implementation of strategic corporate alliances. A graduate of the University of California at Davis with a BA in English and MA in Education, she is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of PHP’s annual fund development program.
Director of Information and Digital Technology
Tom is responsible for all information and digital technology related duties for the organization and is the primary project manager for the digital portal program. His background includes over 25 years of information technology experience in manufacturing, software development, education, healthcare, information technology and humanitarian markets. His experience includes IT leadership, system integration, networking, telecom, software development, project management and IT operations. Prior to joining Pacific Historic Parks, Tom was the Director of the Enterprises Services Branch at the Hawaii Department of Education and earlier served as a program manager at HMSA, focusing on the IT integration of the Affordable Care Act.
Director of Retail Sales
Chris serves as Director of Operations. His responsibilities include leading PHP's Hawaii retail services: the USS Arizona Memorial retail store and Narrated Tour, the Diamond Head Visitor Center and Narrated Tour, and the Kalaupapa National Historical Park retail store. In addition, Chris oversees the buying, wholesale, and online sales divisions. He brings more than 20 years of retail management experience, including leadership roles in California, Maui and Oahu. Most recently he served as Senior General Manager of the flagship Sports Authority in Honolulu, the highest volume store in the company, and as assistant to the District Manager. In this role he received multiple performance awards and was listed as a top executive in Hawaii Business magazine.
Regional Director - Guam/Saipan
Cindy began her career with Pacific Historic Parks more than 16 years ago as the manager of the Guam bookstore. The 400-square-foot bookstore, located at the entrance of War in the Pacific National Historical Park in Asan, moved to Piti in 2007 and is now triple the size and quadruple the value in inventory. In 2006, Cindy managed the opening of Pacific Historic Parks' gift shop at American Memorial Park on Saipan. She also oversees the education programs at both locations. Cindy is active with the Guam Museum Foundation and Guam Visitors Bureau.
