Student group programs are available daily. There is an entrance fee of $1 for walk-ins, $5 per car, $10 for sedan/van/limo, $20 for mini-buses and motor coaches are $40 each. (Entrance fee needs to be paid in cash; sorry no credit cards or personal checks are accepted.)
Please allot 2 hours for hiking to and from the summit. Groups must be accompanied with adult chaperone(s).
We encourage your student group’s arrival time to come in the slower afternoon periods, between 12:30pm to 4pm.
Students groups must be affiliated with an educational institution, ranging from kindergarten to college grade levels.

This incredible audio tour will focus on the history, culture, geography, flora and fauna of the destination. (This audio tour is perfectly planned and does not add any additional charter time on your group’s visit to the Diamond Head State Monument).

We recommend that your group consider coming to the Diamond Head State Monument in the slower afternoon periods of the day. Last opportunity for your group to hike the trail is 4:30 p.m.

With the purchase of $20 or more at our Diamond Head Visitor Center, students can receive free gift coupons. Here your students will discover the largest selection of official Diamond Head merchandise at very reasonable prices. The retail store is conveniently located at the beginning of the hiking trail to the Diamond Head summit.
If time permits, please allow 10-15 minutes for your delegates to shop at the Diamond Head Visitor Center's retail store, conveniently within the Diamond Head crater, at the start of the hike trail. To receive your groups free gift coupons, simply ask any staff member at the Diamond Head Visitor Center.
Diamond Head Visitor Center is open daily from 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., including holidays.
The Diamond Head Visitor Center is a partnership between the Division of State Parks and Pacific Historic Parks. This retail store (and the online version) is the only location in the world to purchase the official State of Hawaii, Diamond Head logo merchandise.
