Junior Ranger Program

Pearl Harbor Visitor Center's Junior Ranger Program

The National Park Service and Pacific Historic Parks created a great Junior Ranger Scavenger Hunt Book for children 3 to 14 years old to help them understand the events of Pearl Harbor and develop a love of and appreciation for history.

The educational workbook guides the family through the events of December 7, 1941 and features activities that incorporate museum exhibits and displays at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Junior Ranger Books are available in English, Japanese, and Mandarin, and can be purchased for just $2 each. This book also is available in our Pearl Harbor Family Package.

Upon completion of our Junior Ranger Book, please proceed to the National Park Service information desk located in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. A Park Ranger will swear in your child or children as official Junior Ranger(s) for the WWII Valor in the Pacific National Monument, and your child or children will receive an honorary National Park Service Ranger badge (great for picture taking!).
