The student body of Georgia Mountains Christian Academy, grades Kindergarten through 6th grade, participate in the Pennies for Pearl Harbor Program. The teachers used the materials from the kit to teach the students what happened December 7, 1941, and why it is important to remember the past. A Pearl Harbor Memorial Service was held after the presentation. Students went home with the boxes and returned with change from family and friends.
