Pennies for Pearl Harbor

Return to Pennies for Pearl Harbor
Nohl Canyon Elementary

The children of Nohl Canyon Elementary School in Anaheim, California launched their Pennies for Pearl Harbor project. The school held an assembly with Mr. Jack Ray Hemmett, a Pearl Harbor Survivor, speaking to the children about the events of December 7, 1941. The children were challenged to raise as much as they can and that class would win a pizza party. The staff are very proud of all the student's participation. We thank Mrs. Dominique Polchow, Principal at Nohl Canyon Elementary for supporting this project. Nohl Canyon Elementary pledge these funds in the name of Reginald Stephan Slaughter, Pearl Harbor Survivor of the USS West Virginia.
