The Story of World War II in Guam Color and Learn Virtual Story Hour

Pacific Historic Parks hosted a virtual Mes CHamoru (Chamorro Month) story time program in March of 2021 for Guam Department of Education 4th grade students and teachers.  The program features two guest speakers: Guam World War II Survivor Mrs. Natividad Calvo and Guam History Consultant Ms. Dominica Tolentino. This 45-minute story hour offers a glimpse of the experiences of the CHamoru people and serves as an invitation for kids to learn more about and understand the sacrifices and strength of those who lived through the war.
