About the Event

As part of the Honouliuli's 80th commemoration of the camp closing, join acclaimed actor, director, producer, and social advocate Daniel Dae Kim as he shares his memories and experiences from the Hawaii Five-0 episode which featured Honouliuli Internment Camp.



This episode will be rescreened on Sunday July 12th at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial Theater with doors opening at 5:30 pm for check-in and event program starting at 5:45 pm. Doors are closed once the program has begun. The one-hour episode will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A session with Daniel Dae Kim and Carole Hayashino, former president of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i, for a discussion on how the Hawaii Five-0 episode influenced public awareness and ongoing efforts to preserve the camp site.



Due to limited seating, RSVP is required by emailing hono_superintendent@nps.gov. Please provide the name and number of participants for the party.



Though the event is free, there is a $7.00 parking fee at Pearl Harbor National Memorial parking lots. Please note that no bags are allowed for this event. Please refer to the park's bag policy.
