About the Event
Join us this Memorial Day weekend, May 23–25, for a variety of activities in remembrance of U.S. military personnel who gave their lives in service to our country.
It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and recognition of the sacrifices made in defense of freedom.
Pearl Harbor National Memorial is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
🗓️ Monday, May 25
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM – Interpretive Tours
30-minute NPS-led tours at both the USS Oklahoma and USS Utah Memorials. Shuttles run between the sites every 30 minutes.
10:00 AM – Live Dive of the USS Arizona (Main Lawn)
Watch underwater exploration of the USS Arizona by Navy and NPS Submerged Resources Center divers, joined by members of the Wounded Warrior Project.
12:30 PM – Memorial Day Commemorative Ceremony (Arizona Bell Court)
USS Arizona bell ringing, moment of silence, and taps.
All Day (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) – Floral Tribute and Name Cards
Flower offerings at each memorial. Receive a card honoring a veteran memorialized at Pearl Harbor.
Memorial Day Live Dive at USS Arizona
May 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
***Please note: This is not a recreational dive. Visitors will be on the visitor center lawn watching the live dive on a big screen.***
This Memorial Day, come experience a live dive event on the USS Arizona. Visitors will be able to watch a live stream led by Deputy Chief of the National Park Service’s Submerged Resources Center Brett Seymour, along with Wounded Veterans in Parks divers, as they reveal the ship's wreckage to show you what it looks like today.
Visitors will view the live dive via a big screen on the lawn at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial. There will also be a moment of silence and ringing of the Arizona bell.
This event is free and open to the public.
