About the Event
Join us this Memorial Day weekend, May 23–25, for a variety of activities in remembrance of U.S. military personnel who gave their lives in service to our country.
It is a time for reflection, gratitude, and recognition of the sacrifices made in defense of freedom.
Pearl Harbor National Memorial is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
🗓️ Sunday, May 24
10:00 AM to 2:00 PM – Interpretive Tours
30-minute NPS-led tours at both the USS Oklahoma and USS Utah Memorials. Shuttles run between the sites every 30 minutes.
12:30 PM – Peace Flame Extinguish Ceremony
4:00 PM – Movie in the Park: “Arizona Underwater”
Outdoor film screening on the lawn near the USS Arizona Memorial. Snacks available for purchase.
5:30 PM – Movie in the Park: “Under the Blood Red Sun”
All Day (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM) – Floral Tribute and Name Cards
Flower offerings at each memorial. Receive a card honoring a veteran memorialized at Pearl Harbor.
This event is free and open to the public.
