USS ARIZONA MEMORIAL RESUMES NORMAL RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR ALL BOAT TOURS
Friday, October 31, 2025
HONOLULU (October 31, 2025) – Effective today, the National Park Service is resuming the normal day-prior reservation system for USS Arizona Memorial boat tours following the completion of preservation work.
Beginning November 1, the regular release of day-prior advance reservations will resume on Recreation.gov. Reservations already made for dates after October 31 will be honored. Other tours offered on the site, including the Ford Island Tours, were not affected.
Visitors arriving today can still visit the USS Arizona Memorial, with four boat tours departing each hour. Guests who are unable to secure reservations may join the virtual standby list on the day of their visit; seats are released on a first-come, first-served basis.
For current information on advance reservations, please visit Recreation.gov or official social media channels.
In close coordination with Pearl Harbor National Memorial, the U.S. Navy recently removed two World War II-era salvage platforms attached to the USS Arizona to support ongoing preservation of the ship. This work is complete and does not affect any existing reservations.
"This is a welcome move to provide further visitor access to one of our nation's most revered war graves," said Aileen Utterdyke, president and CEO of Pacific Historic Parks. "Thanks to donor and partner support, the Arizona Memorial has remained open during the now 31-day government shutdown."
